Downtown Richmond During the 2020 Stay At Home Order

For three weeks in early 2020, downtown Richmond Indiana was deserted.

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb issued a “stay at home” executive order. It included a list of businesses that were deemed essential and all other businesses had to either close or allow their employees to work from home.

Many of the businesses in downtown Richmond were deemed non-essential and were closed to the public. The following is a collection of photos of their closed signs I took in the first week of April.
